UK Short-Let Rules is a free, independent tracker of UK short-term let rules by council: licences, visitor levies, registration, council tax premiums and business rates, plus a free email alert newsletter. We are now taking a small number of founding sponsors.

- UK short-let and holiday-let hosts checking the rules where their property is
- In our first week of Google Search data, most searches were hosts looking up their own council's or nation's rules (Dorset, Wales, Northumberland, Aberdeenshire and others)
- Owners and managers in the middle of a compliance decision: licences, registration, fire safety, levies, tax

Placements and founding prices
All placements are clearly labelled "Sponsored".

Why these prices: they are set against today's real traffic, not projections. Founding rates are held for 12 months from your start date, and are only offered to the first sponsors.
Simple terms
- Every placement is labelled "Sponsored". Sponsors never influence what we publish about rules, councils or deadlines, and we do not endorse sponsors' products.
- One sponsor per page per category. We may decline sponsors that are a poor fit for hosts.
- You supply your copy and logo, and we approve them before they go live. Links are marked as sponsored. No tracking pixels or third-party ad code.
- Invoiced monthly in advance, in GBP. Either side can cancel with 30 days' notice after any minimum term.
- Each month we send you the real figures for your placements: page views, clicks and subscriber count.
- The tracker is general information, not legal or tax advice. That disclaimer stays on every page.
